Joshua Filler has claimed victory in the inaugural Challenge of Champions by Medalla Light, dominating the grand final with a 3-set sweep over Fedor Gorst to take the title and the $15,000 winner-takes-all prize.
In an equally impressive display, Vitaliy Patsura defeated his good friend Fedor Gorst in the final of the Puerto Rico Men’s Open by Samsung TV, securing his first Pro Billiard Series title and an $18,600 top prize. It’s been an incredible week for Patsura, who also finished as runner-up in the Kamui Mixed Doubles.
Final Day Tomorrow: Women’s World Championship Semifinals and Finals
The action continues tomorrow with the semifinals and finals of the Women’s World Championship, starting at 10 AM local time. Reigning champion Chezka Centeno is still in the hunt for title retention. The semifinal matchups are:
- Jasmin Ouschan vs Kristina Tkach
- Seo Seoa vs Chezka Centeno
With a $175,000 prize fund on the line, the champion will take home $50,000.
