Predator and PBC Announce Historic Multi-Event World Championship Week in Bali, Indonesia

Bali, Indonesia — In a groundbreaking announcement that promises to elevate the global stage of professional billiards, Predator Group, in partnership with the Pro Billiard Center (PBC), part of MNC Group, has unveiled a landmark week of cue sports to take place in Bali, Indonesia, this October. The event will feature three WPA World Championship tournaments — one of the biggest multi-title gatherings in pool history.

From October 7–13, 2025, Bali will host:

  • WPA Men’s World 8-Ball Championship
  • WPA Women’s World 10-Ball Championship
  • WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Doubles Championship (Debuting for the first time ever)

The introduction of the WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Doubles Championship is a historic first. It is the inaugural official doubles format sanctioned under the WPA for male athletes, and it opens a bold new chapter for professional cue sports. This launch builds on the popularity and momentum of Predator’s Mixed Doubles Open series, which has proven that the doubles format offers an exciting, fast-paced, and deeply strategic experience for both players and audiences.

“This doubles championship is more than just a new title — it’s a new direction,” said Vincent Rochefort, Director of Predator Events. “It’s the first of its kind under the WPA umbrella, and it reflects our commitment to innovation. After seeing the success and player enthusiasm in our Mixed Doubles Open events, we knew the time was right to bring this format to the highest level of the sport. We strongly believe it opens the door for even more doubles-based world championships in the future.”

The Men’s Doubles World Championship will feature elite teams from around the world, showcasing not only individual excellence but also chemistry, coordination, and national pride. This new discipline adds strategic complexity and emotional stakes, as pairs must rely on each other in high-pressure situations — a dramatic departure from traditional solo formats.

This high-profile event week also marks the beginning of a five-year strategic partnership between Predator and MNC Group, bringing the Pro Billiard Series to Indonesia, a region rapidly emerging as a force in global pool.

“Indonesia is one of the booming countries for pool,” said Rochefort. “The energy, the passion, and the support from the community are incredible. We are thrilled to bring world-class tournaments here and invest long-term in this market. Hosting three of the most important events of the year in one week is a massive statement — for the fans, the players, and the sport as a whole.”
